About this event

Join the SF Democratic Party and SF Public Works to green our city! Help us plant 100+ trees in one day across District 3 neighborhoods including Lower Nob Hill, Nob Hill, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to our community, meet fellow Democrats, and make a lasting environmental impact in San Francisco.

Schedule

8:30-9:00 AM: Registration & check-in (get your wristband!)

9:00 AM: Brief speaking program and safety overview

9:15 AM-12:00 PM: Tree planting at assigned sites throughout D3

12:00 PM: Return to Francisco Middle School and enjoy the fair after!

What to Know

-Volunteers will be divided into 12+ teams

-SF Public Works staff will guide each team to their planting site

-Free sandwich provided for registered volunteers

-All tools and equipment provided

-Dress for outdoor work and bring water

-Rain or Shine

Why Trees Matter Trees reduce stormwater runoff, clean our air, provide habitat for birds and butterflies, and bring beauty and shade to our urban landscape.

This event is part of SF Public Works' 3,500 Trees Project, working to expand the tree canopy in San Francisco's least-leafy neighborhoods.
