Join us for District Dialogue, an open and welcoming community meetup where neighbors come together to talk about the future of our city, our values, and how we can make a difference—no political background needed.

This event will feature a casual panel conversation with local community leaders, moderated by Theo Ellington, Policy Director at Brownstein. Together, we will reflect on the state of the Democratic Party, explore potential strategies for refining our messaging moving forward, and provide space for community members to share their thoughts and ask questions.

The overarching theme of this event is building stronger bridges with our local community, fostering open dialogue between panelists and attendees, and ensuring alignment as we move toward the 2026 election cycle. We aim to start building these connections now—so we can activate and empower local voices, helping people feel like they’re part of the democratic process and inspiring them to get involved in local politics to be the positive change they want to see.

Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the Dogpatch or Potrero Hill neighborhoods, this is a chance to meet others, get inspired, and learn how, and why, your voice matters.

Let’s start building something meaningful together. Come curious, leave connected.
