Help us combat food insecurity in our senior community! Join SF Democrats and Self-Help for the Elderly for a meaningful afternoon of service distributing food to older adults in need.
Schedule:
• 1:15pm - Check-in
• 1:30pm - Distribute food to elderly
Why This Matters:
Food insecurity affects millions of seniors across the country, forcing many to choose between buying groceries and paying for medication, rent, or utilities. For elderly individuals on fixed incomes, access to nutritious food is often a daily struggle that impacts their health, independence, and quality of life. By volunteering, you'll help ensure our senior neighbors have the nourishment they need to thrive.
