San Franciscans will be turning out across the city on July 11th as part of Mayor Lurie and First Lady Becca Prowda’s “One City Day” initiative as a day of service for San Francisco.

Join San Francisco Democrats at one of these three activities which we’re adopting and urging fellow politicos in the City to turn out to and help better San Francisco residents!

Community Care for Women: Self-Defense, Care Kit Assembly, Domestic Violence Education

Volunteers will support women facing domestic violence and hardship through self-defense workshops, care kit assembly, encouragement cards, reflection activities, and learning about trauma, shelters, and community care in San Francisco.

KEEP Ocean Beach Clean

Saturday, July 11

Volunteers will meet at Ocean Beach Cafe to form groups and clean the beach. Each cleanup ends at 11:30am with free food and drinks at the cafe. Stick around afterward to meet other volunteers.

Join us to plant a new area of the Pennsylvania Street Gardens, a gorgeous drought-tolerant garden at the corner of 18th Street & Pennsylvania in Potrero Hill. Volunteers will help bring a new section of the garden to life!
