Join the San Francisco Democratic Party in commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Pink Triangle installation atop Twin Peaks—a powerful symbol of resilience, remembrance, and Pride. Each year, volunteers come together during Pride Month to install the massive one-acre triangle made of bright pink tarps, transforming a once-feared symbol into one of hope and solidarity.

This year’s event begins early on Saturday, June 7, 2025, with volunteers gathering at 7am to lay out the 175 tarps and secure them with nearly 5,000 steel spikes. No experience is needed—just bring your energy, gloves, and a hammer if you have one. Volunteers will receive a commemorative Pink Triangle T-shirt as a thank you for their time and support. At 10:30am, a commemorative ceremony will take place, featuring local leaders, community voices, and performances.

This gathering is more than an installation—it's a moment of unity, reflection, and celebration. By volunteering, you’ll help keep the memory of LGBTQ+ persecution alive while affirming our collective commitment to a more inclusive future. Whether you’re a long-time advocate or showing up for the first time, your presence matters. Let’s come together to build something meaningful and unforgettable.
