August 22, 2026 – November General Election Endorsement Interviews
The San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee’s Endorsements Committee and Issues and Resolutions Committee will hold a joint meeting on August 22nd, 2026 at 4:00 pm via Zoom to interview candidates for local elected office and ballot measure proponents and opponents for the November 3, 2026 Election.
The endorsement interviews will include the following positions and local ballot measures:
- San Francisco Public Defender
- San Francisco Board of Supervisors, District 8
- San Francisco Board of Education
- San Francisco Community College Board
- San Francisco Community College Board (Partial Term)
- San Francisco BART Board, District 8
- Charter Amendments
- Ordinances
- Statewide Ballot Measures

Please note, questionnaires for Public Defender and Board of Supervisors District 8 will be posted after August 14th at 5pm. All other candidates for public offices will have completed questionnaires posted after August 19th at 5pm.

Note no action will be taken at this meeting and we will not take public comment. The SF DCCC will vote on endorsements and take public comment at our regular meeting on August 26, 2026.
